    Furthermore, the invention relates to a drawer with a front panel of the type to be described and a method for assembling a front panel.
    WO 2009/111807 A2 and WO 2012/028489 A1 each show drawers with a front panel which is formed by a plurality of wall elements which can be connected to one another. The wall elements located at the end regions of the front panel each have a locking part or adapter projecting transversely from the front panel, by means of which the front panel can be releasably locked to the two drawer walls.
    The object of the present invention is to provide a front panel of the type mentioned, the mounting of the decorative plate on the frame can be carried out easily.
    This is solved by the features of claim 1. Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are defined in the dependent claims.
    According to the invention, it is provided that at least one holding device separate from the decorative plate and from the frame is arranged on at least one end region of the decorative plate for receiving the at least one end region of the decorative plate, the separate holding device being releasably connectable to the frame.

    In a possible exemplary embodiment it can be provided that the separate holding device can be detachably connected to the frame by at least one snap connection. Such snap connections are known in many designs according to the prior art and need not be described in more detail here.
    The front panel can have an outwardly facing visible side and an opposite rear side, which in the assembled state points into the interior of the drawer, the holding device being arranged on the rear side of the front panel in a state in which the holding device is connected to the frame. In this way, the holding device can be arranged in an optically inconspicuous manner.
    A particular advantage of the invention is that the decorative plate can also be connected to the frame by the holding device when the frame is already locked to the drawer side wall via the at least one locking part. This enables subsequent and convenient installation, removal and easy replacement of the decorative panel on drawers that have already been assembled, in which the frame is therefore already locked to the drawer side wall via the locking part arranged or formed thereon.
    The drawer side wall is usually designed as a hollow chamber profile, a locking device for releasably locking the locking part being arranged at a front end region (i.e. an end region facing the front panel in the installed position) within the hollow chamber profile. The two webs 24 of the side part 5b, which are spaced apart from one another in the vertical direction, can be produced, for example, by punching and, in the locked state of the holding device 16b, engage with the recesses 23a, 23b (FIG. 4a) of the holding device 16b.
